Let’s talk about essential oil safety. There are so many misconceptions about essential oils and in this series, we’re going to try to tackle some of those so that you can make informed decisions.

When we think about essential oils, the key is understanding their power and volatility. Essential oils are extracted from plant matter and depending on the way that the plants are harvested, the climate in which they’re grown, and the region where they’re grown can impact the stability of the compounds.

When you are working with essential oils, ALWAYS dilute them. You want to make sure you’re protecting your skin and I want to make sure you exercise caution.
